The series tooks place in the end of the 17th century and the begin of the 18th in the Carribean and in South America. It's about Edward Teach much known as Blackbeard. It speaks about how and why he's became a pirate and it shows his quest of a legendary treasure: the mythic El Dorado which is coveted by a lot of pirates and the English Crown. It shows a lot of battles between Blackbeard and other pirates or English corsairs and the way Blackbeard reach his goal by some other ways like alliances with other pirates.
