History: Land Rover

The first vehicles named Land Rover were built in the summer of 1947. The Land Rover has a simple and robust design, capable of driving in demanding environments. This vehicle was named for several years as "The Queen of 4X4s". The myth of the Land was born after the Second World War, when the British government encouraged its industrialists to come up with new ideas to revive its exports.

Chiffres

The manufacturer's sales in the Jaguar Land Rover Group in 2013 reached 348,338 units, up 15% compared to 201214. In 2017, sales reached 442,508 vehicles sold (up 2%)15.
